Teen Drama Club
- Information:
- At The Commons, we seek to develop the entire actor. During this club, we will focus on both humorous and dramatic monologues, duet acting, and readers' theater. By the end of the 6 week period, your student will have a monologue prepared for auditions and also be ready to compete in the upcoming Commons Classic - Drama Competition on November 10th.
- Participation in this drama club does not mean that you must participate in the Commons Classic.
- The word "competition" may sound intimidating, but the experience will provide valuable feedback that will help nurture our actors.
- There are tournaments and competitions for various sports, choirs (show and otherwise), and bands, but in recent years, drama competitions have been largely ignored.
- A Showcase event will be performed on October 3 at 7:30pm
- We need a minimum of 10 students

- Dates and Times:
- Drama club meets every Wednesday, from August 29 through October 3, from 6pm-8pm
- Showcase will be performed on October 3 at 7:30pm
- Registration:
- Wednesday, August 22th at 6pm
- A parent/guardian must be present for registration.
- Cost for Camp:
- $50 per student
